1" and 6-1/2" (165mm) 2-way component speaker system
The Infinity BeTA Be621 Component Speaker System leverages Infinity's decades of audio expertise and use of advanced materials to deliver a perfect audio performance. No expense was spared throughout the systems architecture. A 6-1/2" supremo Carbon Fiber cone was developed to ensure low distortion and optimium cone rigidity even at high output levels. It is supsended using a high roll rubber surround which is both durable and provides the ulitmate in cone edge suspension and Specially formulated acoustic adhesive chosen to provide superior strength and sound quality. For high frequencies Infinity chose Beryllium due to its incredible stiffness and high damping properties. The result is a tweeter with resolution clear out to 40kHz, which ensures incredible accuracy free from harshness and unwanted acoustic anomolies. The crossover network developed for the Infinity BeTA Be621 uses ultra high tolerence components to eliminate coloration, so that the mid-woofer and tweeter are able to be fully appreciated by the listener. The Infinity BeTA Be621 will deliver a level of listening that can only be delivered by Infinity.

1-inch Edge-Driven Pure Beryllium Dome Tweeter
Beryllium offers 4.5 times the stiffness and three times more damping than more commonly used Aluminum and Titanium diaphragms, delivering extended high-frequency performance out to 40kHz. This benefits the listener by virtually eliminating all harness in the audio band, delivering a smooth, precise and detailed performance, even at high output levels.
Carbon Fiber Composite Cone Body And Dustcap woofer
The ultra-rigid Carbon Fiber composite dustcap and cone body minimize unwanted cone flexing, ensuring smooth frequency response.
Nomex Spider Woofer
Spider are specifically designed to ensure linear motion in both forward and rearward directions. This mnimizes distortion caused by the speaker's suspension.
Neodymium Magnet Motor
Provides high flux density, also allows more room for larger steel motor components to provide critical heatsink mass for the voice coil.
Die-Cast Aluminium Basket
Provides rigid support for the motor structure allowing for tighter tolerence thus yielding reduced distortion and unwanted acoustic anomolies
Bi-Amp Capable Precision Outboard Crossover network
High tolerence components are used to enusre purity and low distortion with a 12dB per octave alingment on the mid/woofer and 24dB per octave alignment on the tweeter. It is also setup for biamping if so desired and a three position tweeter output is also included to optimize perofrmance based on location and vehicle materials.
